In an effort to promote the Spotted Saddle Horse in all areas, the NSSHA has developed a program to recognize a horse’s hours spent on the trail.

The Program offers several levels of participation & awards. The hours accumulate through the span of the lifetime of the horse. A rider may enroll more than one horse, during any year or years.

Participants in the program must be current NSSHA Members, and a member for each year that you enroll in the program. Horses must be NSSHA registered to enroll in the program. A $10 enrollment fee, per year, per horse, will apply.

A log of hours ridden must be kept, and submitted by each Dec. 1, with awards to be presented at the Annual Awards Banquet, held each Jan.

Triple Hours will be awarded for NSSHA sponsored rides. Double Hours will be awarded for any ride location that is open to the public, including Benefit rides. Log sheets must be signed or stamped by a NSSHA Ride Affiliate, or
affiliate/ride host.

Complete information, including enrollment forms and log sheets will be available on the NSSHA website, at NSSHA Shows, and by request from the NSSHA Office. We are still working out final details for the program, and reserve the right to amend, or add to the program requirements and awards, as needed, to best promote this program.
